This morning I returned the 18v Milwaukee drill/impact combo kit I bought last week and repurchased to get the 12% rebate.

I'm also getting the ultimate tool chest deal. A couple weeks ago I got a rain check for the 72" top & bottom chests for $400 & $800 ($1,200 total).

They just came in, so I'll pick them up this week and get the 12% on top of that ($144 rebate, or $1,056 total).

Yes, the rebate is in the form of a merchandise rebate card - I look at it as free stuff I'd purchase anyway.
