We just moved this past summer and I was working out of a one car garage. Now I'm finally getting ready to build a shop/garage. Its going to be a 36x28 with an. 9x8 and 16x8 garage doors. We are putting vaulted ceiling trusses over the 9x8 door and attic trusses over the remaining which should give us a 20x12 room upstairs with 8' ceilings.

Due to the close proximity to a small stream and a pond my wife's grandfather dug back in the 50's we had to go through conservation. That has taken up the past couple months. Anyway yesterday we started taking down trees.

Congrats in the build. Did the town require the hay retention around the site? Looks like the north east. We lived in Virginia and I always enjoyed the fall and working outside that time if year.

Thanks. Yeah we're in Massachusetts. Great time of year to be working outside. Took down 5 maples yesterday. The straw waddles were a condition of the town conservation commission.

Thanks. I ended up trading the 45 to a buddy due to a few reasons, mainly because it didn't fit the family. I ended up picking up an FJ40 that needs a little work and I've got a wheeling 40 I'm working on.

The wheeling rig. It will live on the trailer.

This one will remain mostly stock and go in the garage. My buddy Poor Wally redoing the tub.

This will be a inside too.

Hey FJ45, I used to have a '77 45, along with multiple others. I'm down to one now, an '84 BJ42, cool to see other cruiserheads on here!
I like the shop, also a similar build to mine which is on here somewhere as I haven't updated recently, but you'll enjoy that upper loft area. I'm in the process of starting the wiring and insulating as we speak.
Cheers, and keep the cruiser pics coming!

Great to see so many Cruiser heads here. RigPig you guys get all the good cruisers up there. Madoc1 your truck is sweet. I've always loved the dune beige.

A little more progress here. They poured the footings today. They are doing the forms on Thursday.

Thanks Wayne. I checked out your build on the Camaro, real nice. I'd would love to get 70's camaro and drop an LS motor in with a T-56. Maybe I'll get to it some day.

Once the shop is built I want to restore the 73 Vette pictured above. It was my first car but I didn't actually start driving it until I was in my 20's. My Uncle bought it in the early 80's and it is the first car I fell in love with. I was heart broken when I found out he was selling it when they started having kids. We worked out a deal and I was able to buy it, I was 15 at the time.

The car that I drove in high school was a 84 Camaro. What a fun car. Put a ton of miles on it before the ****** finally went.

Anyway back to some garage activity. My wife sent me pics of the foundation being poured.
