we've been here 3 years and it seems like everytime i get a project done i have to change up more and more. puttering in here is my favorite hobby. its a slow process but one i very much enjoy.

the original bench was falling apart and i was worried something would get destroyed or i would get hurt. there were scrap granite counter cut offs left in the garage when i bought the house. i had scrap LVL that i used for the legs (very very strong). 3/4" plywood top. would like to bend some sheet metal to put on top of that someday.

the tool cart i use to house all my screwdrivers (and organize them) as well as my old trusty combination wrench/socket set (in the case). the lower shelf fits the case for my air tool set, (impact, air ratchet, die grinder etc....).

the arbor press i built as a project in school and decided to paint it.

this is my bench in use after building it (though not done !)

i wasnt happy with the wall behind the bench. i screwed and painted 3/8 plywood on top of the drywall, i removed the wood covering the window (so much more light). thus begins the shadowboard plan.

Thanks for posting and as you said you find yourself constantly changing the garage with every project to me that is part of the fun and enjoyment of it all.
Mine is in a state of constant change as well and it is what we call "the continual improvement process".

thanks i had a million screwdrivers and never seemed to be able to find the right one. and the cart was really nice on the wallet, cost me about 30$ (and 20 of it was paint haha)

Decided to try and make use of a ugly old cupboard, pulled about 100 random nails and screws and then had to cut my bench to make it fit. Really like the wall to wall bench and storage. Then covered the junk window with 3/8 plywood like the rest of the wall. Painted white. Going to make cupboard doors next for the lower shelves to keep dust out.
