Hello GJ,
I picked up some tools at a garage sale last weekend and among them were 4 tools I'm not familiar with, I'm hoping you guys know what they are. The internet didn't help. Look at the pic below.

1. Long screwdriver type tool, marked "The Wadswrth Electrical Mfg. Co. Inc. - Covington, KY" on one side and "Pat No (illegible) "E-Z Red" Circuit Breaker Enclosures" on the other. It is 8.5" long, the handle is 7.5" and the tip part is only 1" long.
2. Craftsman screwdriver with a tip I've never seen before. Part # 41136 and It has a size 3/16 stamped on the shank. Shank/blade is 4.25" long.
3. Snap On 38/" dr. socket. Part # S 595 A. It is 1.5" tall, see pics.
4. Hunter mini screwdriver but with a needle tip/blade about 1.5" long. With the handle is 3.75" long. Marked "4Y Hunter 028" on one side and 12005 on the other.

So what are these for?. Sorry the newbie question. Thanks.

the socket with the split looks just like one I have for wing nuts. Handy for putting up shutters

Yes clutch screwdriver, clutch screws used to be common on campers and mobile homes. Remember using the tang of a file to remove some when I was a kid cause I didn't have a clutch driver. The socket reminds me of one I made by cutting a slot in a socket with a cutoff wheel, use it to open radiator drains.

I had a 40 chevy pickup and alot of the interior screws were clutch head

ok that makes sense, the tools belonged to an old man whose son was clearing the garage and storage sheds. All of the tools they had were vintage 50s, 60s and 70s.
btw, got about 60+ tools for $13. The son said they'll have more this weekend after un-boxing dad's treasures. I think I'll stop by again & see what they have

my dad had lots of Hunter tools. they were for electricians in the '70's. they competed with Xcelite I believe. so maybe those all came from a tv or radio repairman's tool set.

edit: was looking at the pick that says "Hunter" specifically. it is for pricking and testing wireing or circuits...

The Wadworth security screws were used on old DTS Cash Registers back in th late 70 and 80's. The handles were not that long on the ones I had

GM used a lot of clutch type screws back in the 40's and 50's. My 56 Chevy truck has a bunch of them.

Everything except the pin tool are used for servicing circuit breakers. The serrated cup is used to hold the head of rivets used on breakers so the crimp side can be drilled out without spinning the rivet. It wouldn't be surprising to find out there are other applications as well too. The clutch tip looks to be a standardized size, so many none dedicated uses there.

Keep an eye out, if he had items like that you may find some real jewels buried somewhere. More pic's please!!!!

Thanks guys!... the elder gentleman that owned the tools was a technician for sure, they were a lot of electrical and refrigeration parts.

Yes LXCam, I have my eyes open for that, I'll go back this weekend to see what else they have. They said they still have more stuff to go through in the storage room and shed.
Here's a picture of everything I got for $13, all US made except for 1 or 2: Craftsman V, Proto, Thorsen, a couple of Snap On, Plomb, Wright. The new stuff I exchanged at Sears on my way home.
