Does anyone know if there is any more info on these available? I don't see them listed in the catalog. Would be nice to see dimensions and the size range they will be offered in, as well as where to purchase.

Only thing I've seen is a few sketchy sites putting them up for sale, and I remember seeing something on the SK site recently about asking your local dealer about them.

Just saw on Facebook that SAEs are starting to ship today, IIRC metrics start next week.

Don't worry, you won't need it until the X-Wing fighter comes out. Last I heard it was hung up in EPA certification.

Could anybody still possibly care about these things. I just signed up for this years AAPEX /SEMA. That was the big reveal last year. What a joke.

Apparently someone does - hence the thread.

How many threads are there about these.

As someone who preordered the metric set from SK back in March after testing a 10mm wrench, when they were supposed to ship in April, I still care. :wtf:

The latest from SK customer service is that the metrics might ship in July. :dunno:

Evidently there is some sort of cosmetic issue with the metric X frames and SK wants to put the best possible quality set in their customer's hands so, they haven't shipped yet.:eyecrazy:

I'm trying to support SK but, I'm really disappointed about the delayed launch, and feel that it doesn't bode well for other new SK items but, that's just me.

Call Grainger as they are the distributor for S-K Tools... Their prices are higher then most other vendors...

I just called SK today to inquire about the availability of the 12pc 80019 set and they told me that they were still working on the cosmetic flaw and no date when they would be available  somehow I have a feeling that this is the same for all the X-frame wrenches :dunno:

That's just **** SK hasn't slowed down advertising them but, hasn't shipped any metric sets:wtf: I smell a green rat. SK needs to get their ducks in a line and figure out a fix to the issue. How hard can it be?:eyecrazy:

Cosmetic issue. Any chance it's a chrome problem with the funky shaped wrench?

So would everyone be happy if SK shipped a product knowing they had an issue? There would be a thread complaining about the quality issue instead of not having a wrench set in their hands. Be patient and receive a quality product...

Those threads will exist regardless. I can't believe they didn't realize there was an issue until they were getting ready to ship. Since the 10 mm test examples shipped without issue or many complaints, I can only guess that there's something wrong with the larger sizes.:dunno:

Three months delay and no end in sight:wtf:
