I know there's been a thousand threads, but I want to get specific.
I'm going to have a general purpose compressor. It will be used for air to air tools, a blast cabinet and occasional painting.
I want to cool the air to help get the water out.
I know there are coolers you can hook up, but fear there isn't a reasonable cost solution. Tell me if I'm wrong. Is there a way to use some kind of radiator to extract heat?
So I've seen copper tubing used for this purpose, either coils or sticks. Kind of a manifold? I don't mind a coil above the compressor, since that area is dead space anyway. Or I could use sticks of copper pipe on the wall or ceiling.
Please tell me my options and how to lay it out.
I want to maximize air flow, so what size should I use? And what wall/type?
I assume this would then transition into black pipe to get the air to where it needs to go.
I know there needs to be filters and an oiler and drops for water removal. Give me your best/economical solutions.
