so i can see my HD has BOTH the Milwaukee AND Dewalt tool chests ready for the sale.. they did a half-assed job wrapping them up in black plastic.. the Dewalt chest "looks" like it comes with a small Dewalt socket set too...

also saw the bottom of the boxes for a Ryobi miter saw and miter saw stand..

anybody see anything else good thats suppose to be a surprise??

Didn't see anything particularly interesting. The ryobi impact and drill is on sale again for $99. Been waiting for quite a while so I picked one up.

For hand tools I'm interested in the Dewalt socket/ratchet set in the transparent yellow case for $39.99. Gonna hold off and hope I can find one on clearance though

Do they have the NSA guarding their BF ad ?
I am surprised it is still not out.

They have this locked down like the Declaration of Independence. We need the best.

any one know what the deal is with the special buys and over lapping promo's on power tools. The kits where you get a free tool, are they included in the 150 off promo's. I notice they have the sku175608 2494-22 kit for $99 with a free 4.0 battery in that ad, even if its last year I assume they will do the same this year. But now they have an overlapping promo with a free bare tool of your choice when you buy that kit in store until 12/31? Is it possible these deals could overlap or will it just drop to $99 on BF?

Damn my wallet is going to be hurting with all these Milwaukee deals. Need to pick up two of the m18 fuel kits, an m18 1/2 high torque impact and some m12 tools.

Posted a pic in another thread of a 52" DeWalt top & bottom chest / cabinet that comes with a small mechanic's tool set. No one seemed interested at 798.**

It's not supposed to be a surprise. Both the Milwaukee and Dewalt chests have been in the stores for many months, and the Milwaukee I can at least attest has been the same price regularly as it will be on Black Friday. You can go buy it in the store today at the "Black Friday price".

The black plastic is probably how they are shipped. It looks like they did get more stock in for the holiday season.

no. most stores dont normally stock these items.. they are placed in the isle and pallets are covered in black plastic as a "tease" to be opened and placed "available for purchase" on black Friday. its not a "black friday price" - its just "here - now we have this available IN STORE"

Interesting. Every HD I've been to in the last few months has had at least the Milwaukee boxes (I look at it ever time I'm at one) in stock and out for display with the other toolboxes.

Im not sure but I think the Milwaukee boxes available recently (and for BF) are *different* than the Milwaukee boxes from 2 or 3 months ago.

Does anyone know if the prices are the same online for store pick up or do you actually have to go to the store to get the deal?

the ryobi miter saw and stand is on my list but i would rather not leave my house on black friday if i dont have to.
