I'm no help with an ID, but I dig that little 2 drawer, especially with the tote tray.
This. Matco originally was Mac Allied Tool Company. Once Mac started making their own boxes, Matco changed their name to Mechanics Allied Tool Company. Vintage Matco boxes didn't have the *** appeal of Snap-on, but IMO they're better built.
I just picked one up too! Same box. Came with the original keys. Outside is a little rusty, but the inside is decent looking factory paint. I think I'm going to wet sand it and clear coat it to preserve it

That's what I tought too. Possibly made by Beach.Tracer Bullet, your box looks like a Gray
I recently painted this Cornwell box with Sunrise Red. It's also a fairly good match for Snap On and Craftsman. New paint will look brighter.

are the latches upside down on that sk box or is it the way it came?
like the box. love to see the inside when you get it cleaned up
Notice that if you put the side latches on the other way, there isn't enough room on the hip of the lid for the three-hole pattern of the latch. They can only be installed one way.
Any more pics of this box since painted? I have the same one, and I'm debating either painting it or leaving as-is.
I don't know if this belongs in this thread but I thought maybe someone would like it. I believe I picked this up at sears in 1975. Last picture is in next post.

It looks quite similar to a Remline I have.Who is the maker of this box? Any ideas? Guesses?
I'm told it's not H.L. Allen......
Thanks
Dimensions don't sound right for a Kennedy. 8.5 deep 20 wide?
"Whiskey Drawer" Never heard that one before. lolGreat old box!
And, added bonus points...
It has a Whiskey Drawer!
I found a snap on KRA 352 roll-around box at an estate sale few days ago for $35 with all the tools inside. the next day I'm browsing round the CL add and found a KRA 59A top box about an hour away. Got it home and cleaned up a little bit. It even has the users manual with it still in the top of the box.
