After, a couple of hours work and some rattle can paint:

Husky made in U.S.A. Metric flare wrenches...new. $4.

Gray T-9 full chrome 3/8" speed wrench, $2

A Starrett Vee block (no clamp) $1

A couple of "hole saws" $1.

Those Husky wrenches are interesting. When HD was fairly new I bought a complete set of wrenches from them that were USA made and they are very very good quality. It was disappointing to see what they have come to.

In your basement...seriously, go look now!

Their Chinese flare-nut wrenches aren't too shabby though - I actually bought them TRYING to overtorque and break them and I haven't bent them or thrashed them. The chrome's peeled off though so maybe there is a limit to the abuse but still...

To the OP, your church sales are better than mine - usually old stuff you'd find at Kmart or Big Lots.

That's a great church sale. I've NEVER seen anything like those items at any church sales I've attended. And at GREAT prices. All for under $25.

Another Church sale today, no Snap-on this time, but still a couple of interesting items all for the grand sum of $6.35.

That hammer head is copper and the hand vise is a cool, school machine shop project, marked "J.A. McCormack" in tiny letters above the price tag.

Pliers are German made, the punch is marked "KRAEUTER USA 231-1" , the "C" clamps marked "B+C" (Brink + Cotton #143) and a General No 4 circle cutter.

The lady at that table said these tools were her father's and that he had passed away about twenty-five years back....love it when there is a bit of history too. I'll see her again soon, so I can confirm that he was JA McC.
