Need help and ideas for Plumbing for a Garage Sink

I have recently tore down a lot of the dry wall to add electrical outlets. Since while i'm at it, I figure to add a sink to my garage as it's one of the most used item.

I have a tankless water heater by this knook and i'm thinking of adding a sink around around this area on the left side of the door. Another idea is anywhere along the entire wall shown in picture.

Couple of challenges:

  1. Do you guys have any recommendations what sink I should get? I'm thinking of a dual sink stainless, something good for long term (will be used for greasy hands for automotive projects)
  2. Where can I tap into for source? Should I tap from water heater lines exposed? I would like my lines to be hidden behind drywall (thru studs)
  3. Drainage ideas? There is no existing laundry lines in garage. Base on the pictures of the exterior side yard, where do you think it's most practical to place the sink? Do you think I will need to drill into the existing concrete?

Any help is welcome! Thanks!

I think your biggest issue is a drain. None of those that I see look feasible as a sanitary sewer.

Also you have to use PEX if you want to route water lines thru the studs unless you drill a long set of holes that lead to daylight to feed in a long piece of copper....unless you like sweating couplings every stud bay (!!)

I agree with matt_i.

I would put the sink in the corner nook by the water heater so it does not impact your drive isle.

I have a simple wall mounted laundry tub, single sink, and it works well for me.

How about a sump under the sink with a small float controlled pump to pump the grey water to an existing plumbing drain through the use of a PEX drain line? A check valve in the drain line could be used instead of a trap. It might could be tapped in under a sink like a dishwasher is. Some areas may let you use the discharge outside to water plants. My location will not.

Sure, tap into the existing nearby water lines.
For a drain, I have placed these http://www.libertypumps.com/Product/Model-404 below the sink and then piped it to an existing drain somewhere. In the vent hole, put a piece of plastic pipe with an air admittance valve on it. Or if you have soil that drains well, bury a plastic barrel drilled full of holes. It is only hand washing.

Here’s a picture of my initial plan. I was going to put my lift on the left side of garage, but I’m now thinking it’s best to have the max Jax lift on the right side. This would leave little walk way on the right side of the car. So I’m thinking that’s where I’ll mount the sink if there’s an alternative location to the nook.

Initially I was going to put my air compressor in that nook. I debated to have the sink in that same area. So right now I’m thinking air compressor right up against that wall where the tankless water heater is and then the sink adjacent to it a little more out (closer to the door)

any idea what kind of brand sink i should get? Should I go stainless? I called up a plumber for an appointment this Friday to help me with the job. He recommended a dual sink but he doesn't realize I don't have a big garage footprint to work with. He said to go with a brand that starts with "Flore..."? I think I caught it wrong, do any of you guys have any good suggestions? Right now I'm just going off Amazon and it seems relatively limited in choices.

I wouldn't mind something that can match my existing gladiator cabinet setup (something with cabinet or counter top to blend in) Or if it's in that nook, something that'll have a covering so it's not just metal legs and pipes exposed.
