Picked up my 3 Craftsman boxes today. Great price on them. It was a tight fit, but I got all 3 loaded in my wife's Outback. I need to organize everything, but for now I got them home and set up. I had two rolls of drawer liner I used to line each drawer with. Yes, they are light duty, but even with close to 20lb of screws in a drawer they feel alright.

I was apprehensive about these, but like you, have an area that could function a lot better without bins, boxes, etc.

My local store had 4, I ordered 2, getting ready to go get them. At this price it is hard to get hurt too badly.

Many thanks for the post.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with mine. I started loading them up today and have found it significantly easier to organize things. I filled one up with bits and another with blades, but I might move them elsewhere as those two drawers were quite heavy. I do find I can't slam the drawers closed like I can with my heavier duty boxes, but for the price paid they give me quite a bit of storage. I even found items I thought I had lost when emptying out smaller toolboxes. [emoji23]
I straightened up the bottom edge of the shelf above and threw a coat of paint on the shelf and pegboard. I'll probably give it a second coat tomorrow and then start putting stuff back up on Monday. It already looks so much better than the off white/tan the PO used that is now brown and dirty everywhere in my garage.

The 20 piece cobalt ratcheting wrench set for $40 is the same price per wrench as the 30 piece Husky set (that includes stubbies) for $60 at HD noted on the previous page. I like the stubbies for tight work.
I have a 20pc set of kobalt pro 90 ratchet wrenches sae and metric combination wrench and they were $74 off eBay new last year and honestly even owning the first version of the original non reversible ratchet wrench set of gearwrench a grey tray and the 3pc 1/4, 3/8, and I/2 socket adapter set and I really like the kobalt pro 90 ratchet wrenches compared to the gearwrench set.. makes me want other kobalt pro wrenches and ironically the DeWalt mechanic tool set I think it is one of the most complete of all 3 Dr sizes that comes in the same set

They went fast. As I was checking out online for store pickup the item became unavailable. Looked like there were plenty of people on SD buying as many as they could.
Probably as someone else has said two years ago I went to the nearest harbor freight without leaving the state that is lol,, and I went to go get and try the icon professional chrome sockets the 3/8 sae and metric didn't matter if it was shallow or deep well anyway I walked over and started to look at what I assume was a display of them and there was older woman pushing 2 carts she bought every 1/4, and 3/8 chrome icon professional socket, extension universal, ratchet, comfort grip ratchet, breaker bar they had even a 3/8 set of icon professional impact sockets SAE and metric I believe deep 2 sets of each of those..

I priced a Stanley fat max and my momma's Milwaukee I believe a 25ft tape measure I ended up getting a duratech brand from Amazon $13.49 like $15.37 shipped and it has the smaller fractional mark increments indicated and the end has a double hook for keeping the tape measure where you put it and it has magnets in the bottom hook as well..handy

Never even seen those sales but that's probably because I already bought a Bauer 1/2 drill driver kit $64, and the 1/2 Dr impact wrench gun $92 tool only and already had a DeWalt single speed mind you but hey it was brand new my momma gave it to me for my birthday because I was going to buy one and she had a dcf887 1/4 inch impact driver 2.0ah 20v max she hadn't even used came in her drill 3/8,1/2 xr drill kit with a flashlight, not the Milwaukee fuel M18 I was going to buy but it will work fine for interior work taking front end parts off, headlights and taillights, grilles and removing heater boxes and instrument cluster guages and bezels, door panels and I will get the Milwaukee 2753 I believe version 3 or generation 3 if you will for harder jobs that require more torque like removing valve covers May be a easy job for one, but an intake manifold is not lol

I've been using the the No-Spill Can for several years now, great product but a little pricey. I'm assuming the current versions are still the same as the one I have as they do not look any different.

Because of how Garage Journal monetizes links with Viglink, you may need to copy and paste into a new tab of your browser.
I believe it was made by eagle but my best friend had a can he bought at home Depot and I would guess Lowe's probably sold the same one, anyways it is a red metal gas can with the metal flexible nozzle and yellow lettering on the can I believe he got it around 2002?! Anyways that is one of the better built useable gas cans I've seen in awhile and the junk Walmart sells yeah I'll pass..

My set the case anyway is pretty close to the Bosch impact tough 32pc screwdriver bit set but I don't currently remember which one I know the one I mentioned has reviews on YouTube and the kit is still available on Amazon if anyone wants it

Also lit up the Home Depot thread like this—same rambling conversation. Based on time of posts I’m guessing someone was having adult beverages while on the forum 🤣
is there a feature here that requires one to have a certain number of post/comments/likes in order to access it? If it's not happy juice, that might be it
