I was going to buy into a powder coating system, but after researching, I figured I'd just let the professionals do it. For those here that know me, you already know how **** I am about products looking and working their best.

To those who don't, I built a 1966 Ford 427 Shelby Cobra in 2001 and I'm building it's third 428 FE engine, along with a new Trans, clutch etc.

As a professional (retired now) auto body, paint and car builder. Back then I painted everything,....so after only a handful of years some engine, suspension parts were needing repainted, and even more so today. The only part I had powder coating was the frame, and it still looks great, so I wish I had a lot more coated as well. We even stopped painting our sprint car frame to have it powder coated, and even after 7 years of beating on it, it still looks good.

So, I contacted the best known coatings company, Jet-Hot. My headers looked very sad, dirty and stained after 20 years. I thought for sure, I'd have to build new ones, but they said to send them in and wow, what a difference.

They are ceramic coated and I love'em.

I had a few "Group Buy's" years ago, so as happy as I am with my headers I thought I'd start another one for powder and ceramic coating's.

The deal is, call my saleswoman below, mention my name and you'll receive 10% off, with lifetime warranty,...and free return shipping.

Regards,
Kevin Gilmore

Thanks

Sure they will and they have several colors. But ask them if they have a color close to a factory hue, if that is important to you. If not, no problem.

Let me know.

Did that coat those inside and out?

I think a lot of people do Jet Hot now, or maybe there is a generic. My friends use a place I could almost walk to, if I were allowed to walk outside. ;)

No problem. We used this their coating below on our sprint cars headers for four years and looked great, but then I made stainless steel headers on it and my 427 Cobras side pipes. We sold the sprints engine along with it's coated headers, so I don't know how long they lasted or their still using them ?. lol

Debbie said that you don't want to use it if you put them on a engine builders dyno, because the headers get too hot, I know from being there they get very red hot.

Check out their link below. Let me know what you think.

Call Debbie.,
