I made a few phone calls today myself...........

As other posts here have alledged, I also learned that VANTAGE is the mfg of the KRL Snap On drawer liner material AND JONCO takes the propriortary material and die cuts it for Snap-On. BOTH Companies are under contract with Snap-On and no one else is buying their mat direct!!!!!!

Exec I spoke with at JONCO claims to have a very good similar product he can sell to the general public. Minimum sale is $150.

I'm going to get sample and compare myself with my KRL liners.

Maybe same as what KLARS saw from EBAY ???

Anyway, I'll post back when I develop more details

Just dont know what people here would buy if I sold material in bulk..........or paid to have it cut to what width rolls ????????

Thanks

Chuck: did you get that sample and compare to KRL liners?

How did it match up?

If it's as good, I'd consider going in a on a purchase with you. I've got a few older boxes I need to line with it.

My newest conclusion is that EBAY seller mtryan33 is Mike Ryan from JONCO Industries located in Milwaukie,WI.

The 3 rolls of non slip drawer liner (24" x 6 = 12sq ft X 3 rolls = 36sq ft)
Price is $25.00 which = .70 sq ft with shipping included.

From everything weve read and "heard" here, this black material CANT be the S.O. material. I'm sure JONCO's contract with S.O. doesnt allow them to sell any Remnant material.

At this point I feel I have no other alternative than to order and try (3 day return policy)
the Mike Ryan/JONCO Black Non Slip Material, EBAY offering (.70 sq foot/free shipping)

I will then be able to compare it with the $1.00 sq foot sample that Mike Ryan/JONCO has already sent me.

We have NO way of knowing how many black (NOT Snap On) non slips that JONCO is cutting to shipping to ????

Thanks,

the best drawer liner I have ever come across. I worked as a forklift operator for a short period time while in school. And when the tracktor trailers would be off loaded under the pallets there was a thin hard rubber "like ground tire chunks" sheet that sat under the pallet to keep it from skiding around the trailer. I used this in my old box and it worked great the only thing that slides on the stuff is the plyers after reapeated slamming of the drawer.

Great. Once you compare, I'd appreciate you posting about it, so I can make a decision:thumbup:

This is incorrect. You are able to order most individual sizes via internet (or DSS if you are a Snap-On dealer.)

Anything with low demand not set up on Snap-On's website can be ordered via their special order desk. (Custom parts welcome.)

Can you tell me where to find the part numbers for the individual liners. Obviously I was unaware that they were available individually.

You can get rolls of the stuff. We get it in either 6 or 8ft wide x 50ish ft long rolls at work. Comes from Snap On. It's $$$, I want to say in the low thousand $$ area for 2 rolls (have to use 2 colors for shadowing)

I couldn't find what I was looking for on the Snap-On website, so I called their customer service to get it. Jonco could help too. There are popular single drawer liners set up, but I was able to get some custom cut liners by providing the dimensions to the Snap-On special order desk.

Then something has changed. I have tried to order single liners in the past and was told that they are not available.

Chadster, Your $141.05 for 36" x 20' roll figures out to $2.35 per foot. That's pretty high in my opinion. How is that 36" going to work out in terms of waste, when you cut to fit ???

I've already seen a pretty good alternative from JONCO for $1.00 per sq foot. Comes in either 24" or 48" width. Admittedly it is NOT the KRL material, which evidently is The Best

Hoping our options get better with JONCO, with regard to ordering what you specifically need cut to fit.

There is also the JONCO/EBAY Black Product for .70 sq ft with FREE SHIPPING........

I dont set the prices. I just posted a list price in anticipation of someone asking what a roll of the material would cost.

I misread and thought you said Ronco...

I thought you had a flash of brilliance. Imagine, infomercials pushing pocket fishermen with snap on branding..

Any updates on this? I just bought a Vidmar cabinet and am now looking for a liner material that is good but not over the top expensive. The only issue are the dimensions, as the Vidmar cabinet does not have the 'standard" tool box drawer dimensions.

Thanks.

I was in the same issue as you and ended up just buying the non slip liners from Vidmar, they were like $9 a piece but they are perfect fit and are very nice.

I ordered some 36" x 10' material from Mike Ryan on ebay, wasn't happy with the material. Tried to work something out with him for a different material but didn't get too far.

Other than the price, I'm happy with liners I have. Search for my Vidmar resto thread and you can see a photo of the drawers with the liners.

Alberto, Suggest you contact EBAY seller mtryan33 (Mike Ryan). Explain your needs with dimensions/sizes/qtys and see what he can do for you.

Thanks guys. I'll contact Mike Ryan and get him to send me a sample and I'll get a quote for cut material. I'l report back. If that does not work or I don't like the material, I'll check with the Vidmar folks.

Micky O, Is this a package from JONCO with the EBAY 24" x 6' liner.......

Tell us what you think of whatever you bought.

Here is the link to the liner I bought, it was from mtryan33 and came with the label I posted before from Jonco. I like the liner, it holds the tools in place real well, you can slam the drawers shut and they don't move. The ad said they are 1/8" thick, I'm not sure they are that thick, I'll try and remember to measure them and post back (it'll be a while).

I've e-mailed mtryan33 through ebay, with no response. Anyone have a number so I can call him? I really need to fish or cut bait on these liners, as I'm ready to load up the cabinet.

Yikes! I bought my liners off ebay as a couple hundred foot rolls of material for about $50. I got 1/8" thick for most drawers, then went with some 1/4" thick for my heavy weight drawers. I had 52 30x30 vidmar drawers to fill, so $9 ea would have been pricey.

I got a response back within minutes and will end up buying a set of liners from him within the same hour. I hope they're worth it. Thanks everyone in this thread for your research  you have a new forum member now

I bought 3 rolls from him, i do not care for them. if anyone wants them pm me. 2 of the rolls are untouched, one roll i cut about 18in off of it to test it.

here's a quick video showing both, home depot and the ebay (Jonco) liners in action. i bought both and stuck with the Jonco. I wish they were an 1/16 thicker, but only time will tell if it will suffice...

I finally got in contact with Mike Ryan, he sent me two samples, and I ordered pre-cut liners from him, Shipped them out right after I paid. I have his direct e-mail address if anyone needs it. He indicated that was better to get a hold of him than through e-bay (plus presumably he would not pay \e-bay fees that way I guess.

I should get then early this week.

I bought these liners from ebay and hated them. WAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY too sticky for me.

I do love the yoga mats from yoga accessories and settled on those.
