IR wins, hands down.
The head on the snap-on FAR25 is huge. I own two, I ought to know. That's it's chieft downside. Also, the all-metal body gets pretty cold in the winter.
I'd like to try one of these:

But the IR is the current cream of the crop:

The reversing lever is back from the head, so you won't hit it on things and change directions. And when you back a fastener out against something immovable and need to run it back in to get the ratchet off the damn thing, it's much easer to reach the lever.
The flatheads also fit nearly everywhere, and don't spread the way traditional air ratchets do. Their downside is cost, but they're great tools.

i had Mac Tool AR251 that have flat head ratchet. i loved it and can loose the bolts anywhere that tight area. it still working like brand new.

I have a Snap on FAR25A and I have no complaints. It seems to be a high quality American made tool.

FAR25A is a good tool its just expensive as ****. I use a cheap old IR103A. Ive never had a situation where I could spread the head on that thing. In the worst case I tape up a swivel and use a reducer on my 3/8 gun or just use the LONG 1/4 air ratchet. For what its worth though, those FAR25A's are a proven design. The one guy at work has one and its old as dirt but keeps goin'.
