I am posting to let everyone know my success in having an Iron Drive Coatings floor done in my garage today. In short, ID is a company who does industrial grade Epoxy coatings. The owner, Shannon (who can be found on this board under I believe IronDriveCoatings or something similar, is based out of AZ). After reaching out to Shannon to help me with my floor, I quickly realized he is professional and trustworthy in everything he does. I had a ton of questions and he always answered. Truly a great product and awsome experience from start to finish. I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking for a rock solid floor!
I went with a tan color and flake, which is actually one of the more popular choices among ID customers. For more information on Iron Drive Coatings and franchises, you can check out the web site at http://irondriveadvantage.com.
They came in and ground off my old coating with a industrial grade diamond grinder, vacuumed the floor, and started to lay down the color and followed directly with a thick broadcast of chips and finally a clear coat. Shannon also showed me the Quartz product and let me tell you, this stuff was awesome looking not even on the floor!!
A huge advantage to this coating/service/company is that it has a warranty for as long as you live in the home, you can walk on and move stuff back into place the very next day, and you have full usage (i.e. drive cars into the garage) just 2 days later. That in my mind is enough right there to skip on doing it myself and having a real pro do it for me. It's so much less hassle and work it's not even funny!
I am completely happy I choice IronDrive Coatings as the coating for my garage. For someone as meticulous and **** as myself, I can't imagine doing it any other way. Shannon and his crew were downright skilled and professional in how they did things. I am seriously giving some thought to looking into a franchise opportunity in the future. Right now, maybe not, but it looks and sounds very good to me. You get to make your own hours, be your own boss, and install a full-proof epoxy floor in peoples garages which makes them super happy. 2 of my neighbors came over to check out the action and they are highly considering the ID coating for their floor.
Overall, I am completely satisfied with the product and professionalism Shannon and his crew gave me today. It only took them 5 hours to get the job done and the floor turned out phenomenal. If anyone has any questions at all, feel free to shoot me a PM.
