1981 10 Pc Craftsman 12pt -V- Series Metric Combination Wrench Set

SOLD 5/19 I'm the original owner of this set, which I purchased in 1981... The year I purchased my first foreign car. The set consists of the following wrenches: 9mm - (42913), 10mm - (42914), 11mm - (42915), 12mm - (42916), 13mm - (42917), 14mm - (42918), 15mm - (42919), 16mm - (42924), 17mm - (42929), & 18mm - (42925). 7 out of 10 of the wrenches are stamped with the "-V-" designation. The 10mm, 14mm, & 15mm are stamped with the "-vv-" designation. Both the, "-V-" & "-vv-" marking indicate the wrenches were manufactured by the, "Easco Corporation". It appears the "-V-" designation was used form ca 1968 to 1986, & the "-vv-" started being used around ca.1974 to 1989. In 1990 to present date, the "-vv-" is used to identify the Danaher conglomerate. I always took care of my tools... They are in excellent condition, & without damage or rust. The 18mm wrench does show some slight wear/damage to the edges of the open end portion of the wrench..The edges rolled over from it being hit with a hammer to help loosen a couple of stubborn caliper bolts. It is very slight, & may or may not be seen in the photos. Overall, they they all show very very little wear for being 30 years old.
