Hi all,

First, thank you all for the info and ideas. New guy from Bastrop, TX.

Building a 16x24 shop, almost done. Short is: hotrod and dirtbikes 1st and then some kids. Kids took over the garage, so built my own space to work on the car. 62 Nova wagon w/ 3rd row, 5.3l 4l60e, and TCI front end purchased from a HAMB'er.

We planned a bigger shop, but this one is close to the house(on a hill) and we have paid for it as we went. No loan. Here's some pics. Just the floor epoxy to go.

Back form is almost 7 feet.

The wiring is complete and outside landscaping. Just need to put in epoxy floor and A/C. Figured I would introduce myself and put up some pics before I bug you all in the Flooring section.

Thanks,

That is one cool looking 16 x 24 building. How much is that drop at the back. It looks like you needed a lot of fill.

Thanks,

I haven't really pounded nails for 18yrs. I learned a lot and would definitely do some things different. Only 3 things were sub'd out and each one had issues.

One great thing is that my dad visited and we worked together on it through the framing.

I believe there was 13 ton of foundation fill and two trucks of gravel; all wheelbarrowed in.

Welcome! Nice garage that you have. Any pics of the Nova??

Scott

Here ya go. It's the wife's 62 wagon with the 3rd row. I have smoothed the firewall and installed a TCI front with a rack & discs. Also, I have a 02 5.3L/4l60e to go into it.

Day we got it.

This was a couple years ago and I have collected a lot of parts. Now, it needs it's own garage so I can finish it.
