My name is Chris, and as my subject suggests, I recently purchased my first home. The house was built in 1992 and overall, is in really good shape, except for the garage. From the 1950's style cabinetry complete with 15+ coats of paint to the poor quality "do-it-yourself" shelving made from at least 5 types of scrap wood, the garage has been extremely neglected. So, rather than delving into this project blindly, I decided to educate myself by registering on this forum...
