Nice ride, too. did you try to contact JSK on the forum? He's a VP over there

Really, hard to believe...they usually bend over backwards for customer service. one of the guys here on the forum had a leaky cylinder and posted here. Bendpak actually made the first move. here is the link to the guys response: try him, you never know...there are a lot of BendPak customers on this site.yeah, contacted him, and he put me in touch with someone to try and get it worked out. All my dealings with the second person were forwarded to JSK... the solution I wanted (replacement) was something BP did not want to do.

Maybe because of my big head.Hey! how come you got yellow ramps...mine are blue.![]()
how's your rolling jack?
The one I got had a fabrication error in it, and the wheels won't fit in it's track. Couldn't get BP to take it back for another one, so it just sits on the floor of the shop awaiting time for me to fix it so I can use it.

Can you post pic's of the inside & outside of the garage door when it's closed?
Thanks
Here's a few pics of how it sits.

Unless I'm missing something, the wheel position looks ok to me. They are supposed to sit on top of the guide rail. Also the rolling jack has adjustable width capability. Maybe you need to loosen the carrier and just adjust it?Thanks... that's what I meant, just didn't explain it well. I'd have to drill new holes for my ramp to get mine to fit, and I don't think that would work either, as the thing is actually not fabricated correctly, so it does not ride correctly on the rail.
Ours works awesome. You won't regret buying one.....I have two Bend pacs a HD9 & HD 12 and was thinking about getting the jack, now I'll wait till I find out what happens to fix the problem, please post results

Steve,
Thanks for the heads up.
If I had a gun, I swear I'd pull the trigger. A great thread tainted. I sincerely do look at service issues as opportunities to shine because you get little credit when you do stuff you’re expected to do. But shine when the sky is grey and you’ll earn customers for life. As Jerrod mentioned, I was involved with the original sale then the subsequent incident communication. I passed on and trusted my service team colleagues would take the ball. Jerrod, I am sincerely sorry. Seems like someone was concerned of what the inevitable “correct fix” may be which is new cross tubes.
It’s more than simply the end plates – square or not. The problem was discovered when we made the change on our bridge jacks. The runways on our older HD-9ST’s (and some HD-9’s) were designed to accommodate slide-block bridge jacks – not newer grooved wheel bridge jacks We eventually discovered that the runways needed to be spread apart about 1/2” to accommodate the new jack design. The drafters never noticed a problem as they failed to check the tolerances with a new style jack in place.
A solution to the problem would be to use smaller diameter (higher tensile) runway bolts that would allow the runways to separate enough to make room, or convert back to the slider jack rails.
Or, worst case, swap the cross tubes.
Jerrod, I'll be sure and get a couple of new jack rails on the way assuming you have installed smaller runway bolts. I'll be sure to ship new style parts (square ones too) that are modified one inch lower so the jack does not sit as high.
Jeff
PS.
Steve - awesome thread! Glad to see things are coming together. I will respond to your PM.
Thanks for the help Jeff.
I really did not mean for this to go this route in the thread... was just asking a question about his jack, as I was curious about it compared to mine. I had written getting mine taken care of a long time ago, and was going to deal with "fixing" it myself.
Joel contacted me, and said he'll have a new jack sent out right away.
Sorry for highjacking the thread, as I said, that was not my intention. When I get a product, from whatever company, and something is wrong with it, I contact them to try and get it resolved. If nothing comes of it, I chaulk it up as a learning experience on my part, and just let it go. Life is to short to be pissed at everyone, and my time is far to precious to be dealing with the aggravation.

Hi Steves32
In your photos I can't tell whether your columns are anchored to your floor. Are they
? If not, how stable is the hoist in the raised position, with and without a car on it?
Thanks
Noel
