I have a few of the linesman pliers and wire strippers, and am very happy. Never used the sockets. I have always liked the screwdrivers. Some electrician friends of mine will only buy Klein screwdrivers.

I have alot of Klein tools... being a electrician. I see the Klein socket sets for pretty good prices all over the place and i'm tempted to try one out. My current C-man set has been good, but i like the round head ratchets alot better.

The ratchets are made by S-K , I have 4 of them , good quality. Their pliers are excellent though expensive compared to Utica . I saw some of their sockets and I can say they look like SK sockets???.

SK made socket sets and ratchets for Klein at one time but not the recent ones. Klein customer service claims that the ratchets are still U.S. made, but the one I bought has no country of origin marked on it which makes me suspicious.

Yeah, I don't think (not certain) the socket sets have been USA-made for quite a number of years.

I have a 2004 print catalogue & they don't even seem to make the claim that the socket sets are USA. Many products do have a little American flag next to them, but not the socket sets.

As always, if the "USA" is missing from the tool, the assumption must be it's not made in the USA.
