Well Dave, good advice kind of. Stepping out on a limb- I dont think Ryan wants and/or needs PMs of clarification or stupid questions. That's what he has you and a few others for. Read up in the FAQ section on what a moderator is. It may be from the forum software setup (standard defs) but if he wanted that definition changed he could have done so. I read it.
The problem I have personally with the mods, you mostly, is that you have a ****** attitude when I do bring something up here or in a PM. That's a problem. You do tell people as you just did me- 'if you dont like it'. That's piss-poor!
I have PM'd Ryan once and got no response, so that is my response. I didnt really expect one and I dont plan on doing it again. I have had some good mod experience here and some other piss-poor. I respond to the piss-poor and got that worked out to my satisfaction. With you, it just remains the same.

you can find YOUR answer over a year ago. However, if you go here:

you will find the real RULES, not your modified set of rules. In the REAL rules you will see that there are no rules on the subject that is the OP of this thread. So..... your verbose on the issue is just that. Perhaps, YOU should send Ryan a PM and then you will know what he wants to do. If he does nothing (or does not respond to you at all) you'll understand what he means by that or
My apologies in advance if YOU are offended or anyone else standing by. I agree with your modified rules, but you need to handle that as you tell everyone else to do! I dont think jack **** is the 'mods' fault but your attitude is your fault. I'll accept that I'm having a bad day and that most of my communication with you ends in a poor result. You never accept it. You just respond with sarcasm, do-nothing attitude and pass back a lecture about how we all need to look inward. It's okay to be wrong Bull.
I think You do a fine upstanding job at your volunteer position here at the GJ. I really do. As a moderator your personal opinions are not relevant to the job you do. When a suggestion comes up you dont personally like, nobody cares, nor should they. Only if it is relevant to the forum as a whole, should we care. If you dont like my opinion as a 'member', you can pass or respond as a member, but you choose what you enforce as I cited earlier by the rule you enforce that is NOT a rule at all. Make it so.
OT: One link above is about "
No replies unless pertinent to ad".
Ryan has ruled on this and it's NOT being enforced. There is to be no chit chat, whether anyone 'feels' its ok. It's an issue relevant to the bumping issue and not about whether 'shipping was great' or 'nice packaging'. I send PM's to guys all the time for doing this as it's a PITA and bumps threads. I dont know what you are doing about it. Maybe you are working hard on it. All I am saying is it is rampant once again. I'm not citing anyone badgering about prices, I am citing chit-chat. Ryan said no chit chat, period. The phrase in bold above, came from Ryans' keyboard! There's your answer. Keep up the good work.
