SOLD to david-h They belonged to my father, who purchased them back in the early 60's when he was setting up his shop. They've been unused for the last 30 plus years. Both are stamped, "HUNTER, SANTA FE SPRINGS CAL, U.S.A. PAT. 2324153." (By clicking on the patent number, it will take you to the original US patent) The longer one measures 10 3/4" overall, has a 7 1/4" x 3/16" blade, & is stamped 10M-12. She shorter one measures 6 1/8" overall, has a 3 3/8" x 1/4" blade, & is stamped 10-B. They're both in excellent condition, showing only some minor scuff marks on the handles. They're also in perfect working order. Around 1979 - 1980, Hunter was purchased by KD Tools. This information can be seen in a Sept, 1980 Popular Mechanics magazine article located on Google Books, by clicking the Google Books link. Base on that article, Hunter marketed the screwdriver under the name, "MAGIC TIP", at some point. One of the photos shows the screwdriver in a Hunter Tool ad... Found in a 1953 Popular Mechanic magazine.
I'm asking $29 shipped, for the pair. If you're interested, please post to the forum first, & then send me a PM.
