This is just a quickie. Made from pine with a 1/4" MDF back.

He's an Ohio State fan so I'm going to work their logo in on the front.

Getting the paint laid down. Gloss red for the doors and satin black on the cabinet.

Don't forget to paint the inside of the doors with blackboard paint so you can keep score on them with some chalk.

Proper pub dartboards should always be mounted inside half an old tyre of the appropriate diameter!

Yeah, I used chalkboard paint on our cabinet. This one will get the same.

As far as old tires...I have some 37s here. :lol_hitti

Been waiting on the decal to arrive. When we placed the order the website stated 7-10 days. The confirmation email said 2-4 weeks.

Yesterday I broke down and bought one locally.

Going to shoot some clear gloss over the decal and let it sit for a few days to cure.

The decal bugs me because I centered the O on the cabinet doors but the O in Ohio and the E in State are spaced differently from the edges of the cabinet.

Interesting on the logo not being symmetrical! I did a google search and pulled one of the images up and measured - it too had the same issue. O sticks out further left than the E to the right.

Maybe they were more interested in getting the big "S" in the middle? Just saying.

A good graphic design guy could have made the logo even. If the letters on the right were stretched a bit, and done properly, this would be a non-issue. Interesting that Ohio State allowed their logo to be all screwy like that. I doubt they noticed.

I wonder how many people have realized what I found.

...and while the "S" is centered, there are four letters on each side of that S. The only difference is the small space between the "o" and "S". That space is much smaller than the amount that the logo is off-center.
