Interesting SK ratchet?

Los Angeles, stuck on the 60 freeway.
I picked up an SK 42470 ratchet for $5 from a swap meet. SK diamond, really beat up cosmetically, but seems to work fine. It has 48 teeth, dual pawl guts with 3 teeth on each pawl.

The selector switch is interesting to me, it is raised up a bit. Is this original to the ratchet or did someone substitute guts? Has anyone seen this before in an SK or is this a hybrid of some sort?

I've never seen one, been buying and selling them for years. Be careful with SK, its hard to get ratchet kits because of them going out of bus.

Actually, if it's a ratchet they still make, then getting kits is easy. They've sent me two kits for free so far.

To the OP-
Do you have any pics of the mechanism? I'm confused about the dual pawls.

I also have a ratchet like this except mine doesn't have the recess on the drive side for the snap ring.. Im not sure how the guts are held together
