After getting lots of good ideas on this board I decided to start building my own workbench. Decided to make 2 tables.

One that can be bolted to the floor, and one i can move around on wheels. Both are 200cm wide and 90cm deep and they are 90cm high. I like it a bit higher since i'm quite tall.

The frame was welded from square tubing and painted with some paint i still had laying around of my old race car. final coat should be black or something. I still need to make a lower shelf on both benches.

The wooden top i made from pine wood. I glued some wooden beams together after they were sawed to the same shape. Then i sanded both tops nice and flat.

After that i put 2 coats of varnish on them and installed my vice.

Hope you like it :)

The benches look great.

The walls look like they could use some more mortar.
