Not really remorse per se but last night on eBay I picked up a set of 9 metric snappy combo wrenches, the shallow version of your sockets and an f80 with an extension all for a little more than just the sockets cost on the truck. The only thing I didn't have already was the f80 but the rest of it was just too good to pass up. They'll replace a set of husky sockets in my cart and the wrenches will replace a set of master crafts.

I'd have picked up more if my BIN clicker finger was a little faster!!

I'll set up a search on ebay, use it to buy a certain number of a thing, and then -- until I cancel the search -- I tend to still snap the thing up if it's a good enough deal. I wanted to get four or five Metabo grinders that way, and ended up with seven before I finally canceled the notification on the search.

I have a set of wheels in my basement for a car that I never owned. They looked like a good deal, so...

:lol_hitti......Noooooo Waaaaaay...I just bid (and won for $31) a grill for a 1995-2000 Caddy Eldorado....I own (2) 2002 Caddy Devilles..It was advertised for a Deviile, and I realized it was not for my car about half way through the auction...I won the item, paid for it, and told my wife..She flipped out so I informed the seller that it was not for the Deville, and he refunded my money....So what do I do, I hit Craigslist and I go out and bought a sand blaster ($85) , an MHC 18" x 24" black granite surface plate and stand ($100), 12 cedar planks ($100), and a badass set of Mahogany entry doors w. leaded glass ($425)...

I wouldn't call it buyer's remorse... I'm not very remorseful.

But I bought a set of Cornwell 8-point impact sockets (1/2" drive, 3/8"-1") on ebay a while back. Dunno what I'll use 'em for... but if I come across a big square fastener that won't budge, I'm all set to tackle it. :)

Nope, never. I only bid on what I... OK, I'm lying.;) Did it last week, twice. I tend to impulse bid late at night.
Oh, well, lots of fun fixing and selling the bargains. Can't say as I've lost any money at it, but have had some funny remarks from the wife...

I ended up owning two cars that way. I still can't believe no one upped my $425 bid on the '86 Firebird, that's about scrap price.
