I saw these listed in the local free ad paper and picked them up today, an old workbench with cast iron base, it also came with the Hollands 14 1/2 vise.

The vise was removed for transportation. I also bought a second workbench that I have to go back for. While I was picking these up the owners brother in law stopped over to help and said he had a better vise than that for $20.00. I saw a Charles Parker vise on the floor and was looking at it. He said his vise is the same as the one on the floor, but in better condition. The one on the floor didn't look bad at all. So tomorrow I will go back to get my other workbench and possibly two more vises and one more workbench. I really like the cast iron bases. I'm sure people are wondering about a price. I paid $60.00 for this bench and vise and $40.00 for the one I have to go back for. Regards Barry

I love the legs on the work bench! A media blast and some powder coat and it would be my base for my new dining room table.

Great deal on the vises also.................YOU ****!

ps: Make sure you post before and after cleanup pics, and I see the legs can taka another lower shelf. More coolness!

I picked up the two other workbenches, but I was only able to score one Chas Parker vise, a 974.

You get the vacuum award!
Dinning room table? No, paint it, add matress and sell it to a Jenny Craig noob for a bed!

Very nice, I would take them off your hands when I get moved to Texas.

I finished cleaning up the vises and gave them a quick shot of spray paint. The Parker is Rustoleum Hammered Brown and the Hollands is Rustoleum Army Green. I need to paint the lettering on the Hollands Rustoleum Putty. For some reason I like that color combination. Both vises were in good shape.
