I just became the proud owner of about 22 LIGHTLY used 2 post lifts that I now need to sell. I say that they are lightly used because they are. These lifts are coming out of a laboratory setting used by the big 3 to determine repair procedures by engineers. These lifts have never seen a vehicle that was not brand new! With the exception of a few paint scratches incurred during installation (or their near term removal), they are all in perfect working order and look brand new!

I will be taking them down in Detroit and any not sold there in Detroit prior to the takedown, will be then moved to Chicago. The lifts will be on skids and arrangements can be made for pick-up or delivery.

Here's a breakdown of the first 10 that are available:
3 each Rotary Model SPOA7-200 7,000 lbs. Capacity / 2 Post w/ overhead / 230 volt 1 phase motor Asking $1800.00 each

4 each Challenger Model 9000AI 9,000 lbs. Capacity / 2 post w/ overhead / 230 volt 1 phase motor Asking $1750.00 each

1 each Rotary Model SPOA9-200 9,000 lbs. Capacity / 2 Post w/ overhead / 230 volt 1 phase motor Asking $1850

2 each Benwil Model T-Pro-7 7,000 lbs. Capacity / 2 Post w/ overhead / 230 volt 1 phase motor Asking $1500.00 each

All of these lifts require a 12' ceiling height for installation. I will make pictures of them available as soon as I receive them, but this deal is first come first served.

Please let me know if there is any interest!

There will be some 4-posts later this year, unfortunately, they are 30,000 lbs capacity and about 34' in overall length! (If you have a LONG garage, you could fit a few cars on top and below, but taking the drive up ramps off to drive in underneath will prove to be a challenge!)

The Challenger lifts can be used either symmetrically or asymmetrically, according to the manufacturer. They call it a "Versymmetric" lift.

Fivespdcat...No these lifts are not coming out of a dealership. They are being removed from a testing facility that was used by an outside contractor to the "Big Three". Most of the lifts have literally NEVER been used, just set-up and then they sat. Any that were "used" were used in the sense that they had a brand new vehicle sit on them for months at a time while the engineers worked out the repair procedures. I've been in the lift business for 18 years and I have never seen anything like this!

BTW, thank you to the Garage Journal members that have shown an interest in purchasing. I hope to get a chance to meet some of you all up in Detroit, but at this time, I can't guarantee I will be there personally due to other commitments here in Chicago. If there are any issues, please feel free to call me or ask one of the service techs to call.

There are an additional 12 lifts now available (in addition to the 10 listed in the original post). There is a mixture of Rotary SPOA9 Lifts and SPOA10's, but I don't have the quantity breakdown of each yet. If there is any additional interest, please give me a call M-F at 1-888-350-7500 Ext 103

Best Regards,

Frank

I have a 22x22x12 space I'd like to put a lift in. I have a 4 in. concrete floor. I did make the concrete thicker where we felt the posts would go (they are dead center in the space). How much for the Rotary installed in Princeton IL?

Inition...I'll need to find an installer in your area to do the work before I quote you. Technically, Princeton is in our service area, but it's a 3-hour drive each way to do a 4-hour installation, I'd hate to even give you the quote! (By the way, we sell Champion compressors that are made right there in Princeton!)

Let me see if I can find someone and if not, I'll try to work you some sort of deal.

Best Regards,

Frank

These are bargain prices for the lifts quoted so far. Anyone in the area who has been considering a lift would do well to get one.

Charles

Charles;

One of the lifts that will be available later this year will be a 15,000 lbs. 2 post. I don't have pricing on that yet, but it will be available.

We also have a 4-post 12K capacity alignment rack and a 30K capacity 4-post lift that will be available.

I need a symmetrical lift anyways. A BendPak delivered and installed will run me $3800. Sounds pretty fair.

I talked to you this morning about a 10K symmetrical. I am leaving this as a reminder.

Get in touch if you come across one.

We are about 1K miles away from Chicago but would be interested in that 15K lb 2 post lift, especially if shipping could be arranged. Small chance someone could come get it but the price would have to be pretty good to take the time to do that.

Aahz, I am interested in a SPOA9 as well as a SPOA10, I can pay you cash if that makes any difference. I am two hours east of Chicago in SW Michigan. Let me know what you can do price wise on the pair and location for pickup.

Let me know where you are located. We are a few months away from getting the SPO15. It's the one lift that they are actively using to do some work for Navistar if I remember correctly. If you can give me your zip code and city, I'll see what I can do with a freight quote for you.

I just came back from Detroit where I looked at all of the lifts at the Allen Park facility yesterday. The original list is a bit wrong in regards to model numbers. I also received the update on the 2nd facility, which is in Canton.

Here is the revised list of what is in Allen Park:
Two (2) Rotary SPOA7-200 lifts (7,000 lbs capacity) Blue in color
Three (3) Rotary SPOA88 lifts (7,000 lbs capacity, fore-runners to SPOA7), 2 red, 1 Blue in color
Two (2) Benwil Model T-Pro-7 (7,000 lbs. capacity), Light Blue in color
One (1) Ben Pearson Model 9000AI, (9000 lbs capacity), Blue in color
One (1) VBM "Challenger" Model 21,000 (7,000 lbs capacity), red in color
One (1) Rotary Model SPOA9-200 Red in color (9,000 lbs. capacity)------SOLD

These are the lifts in Canton, MI:
Ten (14) Rotary Model SPOA9, (9,000 lbs. capacity), blue in color
One (1) Ben Pearson Model 9000AI, (9,000 lbs. capacity) blue in color

The next available lifts will be in May / June time frame and they will probably include some SPOA10 models.

82009, not in a city closest would be Cheyenne (15 miles), but have loading dock, fork lift and business hours.

Galaxie..I'll put you down tentatively for the SPO15, although you may need it sooner than it becomes available. I'm still negotiating price on that lift and as I stated earlier, they are still using it. If & when I get the commitment from them to sell it, you will be the first person I call.

At this time, all of the SPOA9 lifts appear to be sold, but I do still have Rotary SPOA7, SPOA88 lifts available as well as the 2 Ben Pearson 9000 lbs. (Model 9000AI) and one VBM Challenger 7K lift available.

Next batch of 9K / 10K lifts will be in May or June.

Thanks to all of the Garage Journal members that have taken us up on this deal!

Sounds good, I am actively searching but have nothing as of yet. I double checked the measurements on that 15K since it is a little bigger than needed and it will fit.

Thank You much Frank. I will get a hold of you next week to discuss payment and logistics with you. I am assuming that you may have more SPOA9 or SPOA10 lifts becoming available come May/ June. Please let me know how many you may have as well. If I have it in my budget, I want as many as I can get my hands on. Wife will just have to park in the driveway while I turn that into a storage for the time being. Thanks.

Is the Ben Pearson, or any of the others not mentioned the floor plate design, im looking for one for 10ft ceilings- Thanks.

I would also need shipped to Florida (32218) If you happen upon a floor plate style lift.

Sorry..I don't have any floor plate designs that are used. Best I could do for you is a new R-RTP9 Rotary Revolution lift. It's 9K capacity and will fit in a 10' ceiling, although I'm not sure how high you can lift a car. Cost is $2725.00 plus freight of $130.00. Something like that would drop ship from the factory and Rotary will charge you local sales tax as well.

If there is anyone that has ordered a lift that I have not sent either a receipt or a sales order to, please let me know. I have one blank Rotary SPOA9 that I thought had been sold, but now cannot put a name to. I hate to have someone think we were all squared away, only to find out I missed them!

The next go around (it's looking like possibly May) will include some four (4) SPOA9 lifts and at least ten (10) SPOA10 lifts. At this point I have eight (8) potential commitments on SPOA10's with two (2) to spare. The SPOA9's are still available. If more come available, I'll let you know!
