I notice my HD cleared out their entire aisle of Hilti stuff and brought in an impressive selection of Bosch.

I wonder if Hilti got sick of HD or HD booted Hilti? Not that it really matters....

I'm glad Hilti's gone, they had an obnoxious rep who would come talk to you in the other aisle if you were looking at power tools and try to tell you why everything there sucked but everything in his aisle was awesome.

I lost respect for Hilti after they went to Chinese manufacturing. Same exact thing as in paying Made In USA truck prices for Chinese ****.

Still a whole dedicated aisle of hiliti at the HD's by me. No bosch though, only can find them at lowes.

Speaking of Hilti, while digging around in some cabinets in my Grandpa's garage I found a almost brand new Hilti fastener driver in a metal case. Made in USA.

When I worked at HD some stores had a large selection of Hilti for sale while some did not have any.

My store did not have any for sale but we had plenty in the Tool Rental area along with plenty of Bosch stuff as well.

My HD doesn't even have a rental dept. Initially they claimed it was because there was a large local rental place right behind them when they built (true). I guess it was a noble attempt to show respect to local business(es) but it was still frustrating if you wanted to rent a hammer drill on a sunday as the local place wasn't open.

Now the local rental place has long since moved but still no rental dept.

My local HD is out of their mind on rental prices. 1/3 of retail to rent a tool for a day? No thanks.
