Jet makes woodworking tools like table saws; I've never seen jackstands from them, but the ones in the link look decent. I believe most of their stuff is built overseas but they do have a good reputation.

My dad has one, not sure what happened to the other. Just looked at the name today. It is a quality piece, but I did not see any COO stamped on them. I have yet to have a hands on experience with the HF stands. They do not have any on floor display at my store. In need to buy a set soon. I just don't want to pay $75 for JET if they are HF-esque stands.

Pretty much everything from Jet is from Asia. They're one of the original machine importers from 25 or so years ago. Quality is usually pretty good, I have a number of Jet woodworking machines that serve me well. For jackstands I'd just go buy the HF ones...in fact I did...

I know these are made in Taiwan. I have heard of them from a wood working perspective but not automotive. Amazon slow them for $76, I just don know if they are worth 2x the HF jack stands.
