Nice work Wilco. At the first picture, I had to do a double-take as it looked real. The lighting has a great effect. The last picture puts it all in perspective. Nice pics as well as the work!

Awesome work.
You might have mentioned it in another thread, but about how many hours do you have in one of these builds?

That is just crazy! Words do not describe it.

Just wondering what kind of time you have in a project like this? Thanks for sharing!

That's awesome man! Great job!

Can you do a "hillbilly" one next? Maybe an "trailer park front yard" diorama with small blocks hanging from trees and a rusty el-camino/chicken coop? *kidding*

BTW, I would at least put a chain around the torch bottles, that's a phobia of mine.

Seriously though, awesome!

looks like you spent more time on that than some guys have spent setting up their real garage

I think you are missing the girlie poster on the wall though

man, that is some of the most amazing **** ive ever seen!

Ditto. I've went to Wilco's website and spent quite a while looking the Diorama's over. Absolutely fascinating!!! When you show it on the table, it's hard to believe it's as small as it is with all of the detail packed inside.

Thankx guy's

Building dioramas is my great hobby and passion
I worked for 15 years at the Volvo developement center in the Netherlands as a proto builder in the sheet metal shop, and there came all my insperation from.
The tools I use in my garagedioramas realy exist (some of them are scratch build)
This forum gives me the extra inspiration for future projects.

I like to build garages from the 50-80's and especially the nostalgic ones.

I think this is my first post on this board.

Hi! My name is Beau.
I have been reading through this site for several weeks.
I am about 60 percent finished with my garage.

In the mean time, I just wanted to say this diorama is a work of art.

If you ever grow tired of looking at it, bury it in a hunk of titanium for a few millennia.
This would blow some ones mind to see that in a thousand years.

Job well done, you are a gifted surgeon.
