OK! Am I missing something or are the windows on the floor? Or is that lights in the wall? Looks good though. If it is light, why did you put them so low? If it is windows, what's it look like from the outside. So many questions, so little time. LOL!!!

Most paint shops I've worked in have always had the wall mounted lower lights, but your room looks too finished to use as a spray booth. I'm courious on your use of the plastic backed sub flooring. Do you have a problem with moisture wicking up through the concrete, or something else? Different idea, never seen it in a garage.

The additional lighting from the 2'x4' T8 4 bulb lights make detailing my Dakota easier because I can now see better....

No more Paint Swirls!

The Concrete floor is uneven and it makes leveling it out so I can apply flooring tile Smoothly alot easier, plus it creates a finished look to the garage.

i see some things horribly not right in this picture. Mind posting a pic of inside the switch (looks like a fused switch, but may be a panel -cant tell from the angle) the yellow romex cables are entering?

Circut breaker box and Fused circut panel......

it has two pull out modules and the old type screw in fuses, but it all is wired properly..

Local electrician and contractor looked it all over and it's up to code, plans are to eventually upgrade the box and add a circut for baseboard heaters later on........

the unsecured romex entering through that conduit ****** (or whatever that is) is not ok or up to code..........

Is that SO cord in the upper left (the two black cables entering the 4S box)?

At least he has a drip loop! lol

Seriously, though, doesn't the romex need to be stapled w/in 6" or so of where it enters the box?

I'm not sure about your part of the country but where I live it is also against code for those boxes to be covered with the white doors you have there.

that, and id be worried about the SO cord if thats what it is. Cant run it through walls (for good reason -the insulation becomes brittle and falls off)

Well I've had 3 Contractors, all of which are Pa certified and registered, the local electrical inspector has been in and signed off on it, my Home owners insurance has had a inspector over and he's signed off on it.

The work on all this was originally done in early 90's by my Grandfather, and all we did was add a couple circuts that the box had the capacity for.

as far as the cabinet doors go, no one has said a word about it other than it
finishes the shop off nicely....

This isn't a commercial garage by any means, it's also set up so I can shut the power off to it from main house 30 ft away.....
