Heres some shots of , toolboxes and machine room.I have lots more, but I they are too big to post. I will get some outside pics tomorrow. The lighted BowTie came from the old Chevrolet Dealer. The owner let me have it when they built their new place. The Wooden Bowtie is handpainted and from what they remember was from the 40's. The parts manager had been saving it for himself for years, but thought it would look better in my shop,so it was a present from him.

Very nice set-up in deed. The yellow tool boxes would look great in my garage. Did they come painted yellow or did you paint them. Old Chevrolet sign is real neat also. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the kind words. The yellow boxes are my personal boxes and that's just how they came from Snap On. The larger box is about 11 years old,and at the time Snap On only made a very limied number of special color boxes. Now they are quite common. I am very fond of the wooden sign. I couldn't believe it when I received it. It is defiently OLD, and very nicely done. Also, it looks like we have the same gas pump.

VERY nice space, sir!
I LOVE EB's, they are a close second to my 1st love, older CJ's. What you running under the hood, 302, 351? How about some more pics/specs, it looks SUPER-clean!

No 302, no 351, it's got a threefitt..... threefitt.. threeefifty. I know, I know, but when I started building it my finances where very tight, and I had that engine all ready to go. It is 5.7 TBi , roller cam, .030 over. It made a lot of sense,as I wanted to run a 700r4 anyways. It is a 76 frame, Kentrol fiberglass tub, full floating 9'' w 4.56's and a full spool,Dana 44 w/ARB . Cage extended radius arms , power steering , power 4 wheel discs and lots of other goodies. I will post some ,more pics of it later.

Pay no attention to the Chevy/Ford debate. I'll say I've often thought that exact combination would be killer for an off-road rig. I like the EB's, but you can get 350's super cheap, and parts are a easy to find too.

At the risk of starting a riot, if you don't mind, any pics under the hood? Was it a difficult swap?

Not sure if I have any underhood pics ,if not I will get some tomorrow. The conversion was quite easy, as I built this thing from scratch. I started with a bare frame and built from there. As I said, when I started it I was on a very tight budget, and that was the best option for me. My next one will probably have a built Ford small block though.

I'm dyin' to do a late model, EFI into a '60's something. It's gonna have to wait 'til the new house and shop are built though. Is that a Pantera in the
1st pick?
