Ive been stretching out 100' of air hose to reach my driveway for filling tires and the very occasional use of an impact gun on the driveway. It's a PIA so Ive been toying with buying another compressor for my attached garage but really couldn't justify it for the amount of times I would use it. I picked up this "dead compressor" for free on Craigslist. I dragged it home and checked the capacitors and found the 30uf run cap dead. I replaced it, added a new air cleaner and it runs and sounds perfect.
