Oh wow, this is gonna be cool! I'm subscribed and waiting for the next installment.

Just as an aside, the more I hang out here, the more I enjoy it. I love the variety of the projects and the personalities putting them together. Thanks for making me feel at home guys. :D

That is so cool! My daughter is only 4 and is showing signs of being very mechanically inclined. She loves helping me out in the shop. I think this would be a great project for us! Keep up the great work! Subscribed!

Your "7 month old grandson?"
Can I be your grandson for about 3 years?

Great stuff - cool metal work! Lucky Grandson.

Pedal or push?

Thanks. Actually it'll be a pull wagon

Not much done between work and my 11yr old being sick haven't had much time in the shop, but I did get the cowl tacked in and frame work for the hood started.

My Dad and I made a wooden "go-kart" when I was about 12 - y'know: 2x4 axles, rope steering, plastic wheels with bolts thru copper pipes.....

One day I asked him to pull me down the street behind his truck and - being the drunk he was - he did so. By the time he looked back the 2x4 axle had jack-knifed the go-kart into some hedges alongside the road and by the time he stopped I had gone right thru them catching my foot under the back axle, tearing my sneaker clean off and gashing my foot something bad. Today you'd get rushed to emergency - back then? I got a whack on the head and was told not to get blood on the truck while he wrapped some greasy shop rags around it! Lucky Mom was a little more nurse-like....

Great story e-tek! Had a few incidents like that myself back in the day (like pole vaulting onto the roof). Ahhhhhhhhh, pleasant memories ......... :D

Make sure to leave room and the ability to add a go cart engine in the front. You know your going to want to add it eventually

Very nice job. I suspect that it will be passed down for many years to come and be quite a memory for the kids. Might want to think about a nicer front wheel though with a bearing. Seems a shame to spoil such a great wagon with plastic wheels

That is sooo cool. You can be my grandpa anytime and I'm 50! I can't wait to see the finished product. I was hoping to find it painted and flamed by the end of the thread, but I'll be patient.

Man that thing is going to be heavy. I think you had better add a engine and some RC servos to make it completely remote control. Yeah that will work.
