Can anybody I.D. this vise for me?

I would love to know who made this. It has 3.5" jaws that open 5.5"

The only marking is No. 7 cast into the body. There is a 21 stamped into the slide but that's it.

Edit: Just weighed it at 35 pounds.

If anybody has any info on this I would love to hear it. I've had it a while now but I decided to get it cleaned up.

it appears as if this is the way the vise was originally manufactured and all the parts are present. I can't imagine it coming with a different type of base.

I just don't understand why no manufacturer name is present. It's honestly a very well made vise. It's heavy, solid and operates as well as any vise I've seen.
