I know of a Foley Belsaw Sharp-All 1055 and Belt Sander for sale and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these grinders. If so, would you purchase this?

https://shop-foley-belsaw.com/foley/G3551.prod

Item retails for $880 and I know of one for sale were the owner will part with it for $75.

No brainer there. I have 2 of these that I bought off CL for $75.00 and $50.00.You can sharpen just about anything with these. These came with a bunch of add on's so you can do chain saw and circular saw blades.

FWIW, there is one near me with some extra attachments and a stack of wheels $400. It's been posted a few times so take that price for it is worth.

Yes I am fully aware it's not 2012 again but this thread basically asks my same questions.

I can get one of these locally for $75. I don't think it's as complete as the photo above but it's close. this manual shows an extension arm for the right side, is that meant to be included or an optional attachment? In either case that is missing from the one near me. More or less same condition as above.

I already own 3 block grinders. I don't know how redundant this would be for me. Is the right side meant to be fitted with a cutting disc? Looks like a masonry disc fitted on this one, it's hard to judge from the photo above.

I didn't happen to get any photos when I was in the shop there, didn't think of it until later on.

It looks like the OP picture is a Craftsman Block grinder as the power unit. That in itself makes it worth it. As long as it fills a need buy it. Belsaw made some solid stuff.
