Welcome to the TexasBuyMyRide Shop......
So I grew up in the country on about 100 acres. I had my own shop when I was about 10-11 years old. a 40x60 barn. I had work benches I build, put the power in myself, etc. I would work on old cars, Lawn Mowers, build things. When I turned 16 I was building/working on mussle cars for my self/friends. I've always had a love for cars.
To Support my hobby/Love for Cars, I was always handy with computers. So I became an IT guy. Family and a job opportunity caused me to move to IL to Dallas......The City Life. Started out with living in Apartments....oh..that wasn't gonna work. Then Got a House..with a GARAGE!! Much better, but still missed having a big place to work on cars. So what I once had, became a dream/goal of mine. Its not as easy to obtain a big shop in Dallas City Limits as it was when I was 11.
I started a business Called Texas Buy My Ride. I buy cars from people Dallas and all over this Metroplex. I fix them, or have them fixed, and resell for a profit. I also have a few other businesses, so never could focus on this 100%. My Father wanted to Semi Retire, Move to Dallas, and wanted a change in careers. I mentioned this dream/idea to him. He was excited to try it. He has done a REALLLLY good job taking it off the ground.
So now that we were making $$, it was time for the SHOP!!!! I had a few things I needed. Large enough to work on cars..a few 3-5 at a time inside, A Fenced in Yard, Customer Parking, and a clean appearance to do business with customers. Sounds easy..but not in Dallas. If a place is Zoned for automotive use...it has 30 other guys with junk cars. So I searched High and Low..then I found it.
40x40 Shop In Dallas City Limits..about 15 miles from my house
18' Ceiling.
Large Roll up Door.
3 Phase Power
Heated and Cooled Office Space.

3Phase Power
After I've removed that Insulation
