Seems kind of obvious it's a misprint and should read $275.99 but there's another set to the right for almost a grand...lol WTF

Well worth the money. I have two of those sets - one for the home shop, and one for in the truck.

My teacher at school has a set of Williams USA in those sizes. He brought them in to show me once, apparently they cost over $3000 for one set (similar price to the one linked). He got them brand new at an estate sale for $200, but not one, but two identical sets.....

He later gave a set away, but still has one full set. Talk about a "you ****".

So what is your point? If HF made this set it would be $3.99

I thought my point was clear, but I'll explain it in a way that you can understand it.

The price of the wrenches posted by the OP is not terribly out of line, when you consider that they are probably selling for about half of what a Snap-ON set would cost.

Does that help you grasp my point?

It's the sizes, first glance you're like what the hell? But for those sizes that's pretty well on track.

Sears rises the price of Armstrong a lot. I think I saw that set on a diffrent site for like $500 less

There cheap in comparason to the set that drifted off while repairing a satellite. That was the most expensive set and shipping was a killer too!

Amazingly enough, I sell a fair amount of big wrenches. Not so much in sets but in singles. I have trouble keeping the larger sizes in stock. Just can't find enough used ones to buy.

The "frequently bought together" suggestions crack me up, as if someone would buy a high-end set of industrial wrenches, and then a bunch of their ****-*** gimmicky junk tools. The only useful thing in the list is a set of flare nut wrenches...

They're $2800.00 here in Canada but they don't ship them internationally. Guess we have to go get them.

wrench size aside.....The Sears/Craftsman website has got to be one of the worst Ive ever been to....actually, it is the worst. I had some stuff in my cart, wanted to remove it, clicked remove, and nothing happens. It literally wont let me remove them. Plus when you click to join Craftsman Club, nothing happens. No wonder Sears is failing so bad.

Well heres a question...or 2
1. How on earth can the price be justified for a piece of inanimate steel?
2. What sort of half sensible person or company would pay that price?

Oil rigs would pay that kind of money in a heartbeat

1. Think you can make them cheaper? Let's see it...and at the quality they are made to

2. Oil refineries, power plants, paper mills, steel mills, large mining operstions, etc.....and the price isn't bad for what sizes you're getting

So for size comparison can any post a picture of those wrenchs with a normal size wrench beside it? I still find it hard that they are that expensive just because they are bigger?

The biggest wrench I have is a 35mm I think, and it's kinda big.

35mm is just about 1-1/3"

This set goes to 2-1/2", or 63.5mm, or approx. 1.8 times the size of your 35mm wrench.

I'd buy individuals, not a set like that.
Working on a pump rebuild job today that takes 2 1/4". I get by with some cheapo HF Pittsburgh wrenches since those jobs are only things like gland nuts that aren't actually torqued that high.
