I don't want to start a war here but are these the old USA made? I see that they have the ratcheting wrench sets, which I like the USA made ones I have.

It would also be alright to stock up on some old USA made sockets.

Anyone know?

I am expecting to get Non-US ratcheting wrenches, and US everything else.

Just waiting curb-side for them to bring the order to my car.

I bought that set during the black friday on thursday thing sears had. Everything was USA made except the ratcheting wrenches.

The ratcheting wrenches have what has been deemed on this web site as the lobster claw open end.

I've been using these ratcheting wrenches without issue. The open end is the same as my made in the USA cross force wrenches.

I got the the same set at the same time. I don't think the hex keys are made in the USA either.

Bought this over a year ago use it a lot and am happy, it can be had a few times a year for about another $40 less.

I bought it in Feb and they were.

The only imports were the ratcheting wrenches

The ones I have says tools made in the USA. I assume that means the pouch was outsourced.

It wouldn't surprise me if yours were indeed outsourced. I recall the box saying made in the USA with global components.

China wrenches for sure. For the money, this set is well worth selling the wrenches if you care that much. I don't (yet.)

I sold the 16 rat wrenches out of mine for $80 because I didnt want Chinese Wrenches.

Ironically I bought Chinese Rat wrenches last weekend but I paid $17 for 14 wrenches from Home Depot.

This was a limited time sale and I missed the deadline. However, today (1-23) I tried the Sears store in Escanaba,MI, The manager said I missed the sale dates, however he gave them to me at the sale price! He said that I was "unable to come in on the sale date"! I guess it nevcer hurts to ask!
