I thought this worthy of a post. $16 for 10-15mm flex head wrenches. I had seen the shelf tag at my local store, but they were out and had to go to a few to find them. They seem to have more of the SAE wrenches available.

I paid $15 - funny how inconsistent pricing is from one store to the next even in the same area. I also picked up a 7pc SAE set (non-reversing and non-flex though) for $10.

which store? rt. 56?

Sorry - I got the flex set in Chicago on Division and the non-flex set in Algonquin.
Last they had of both at each store . . .they have the same set in different packaging for $49. I think all the deals lately are the repackaging/refresh of the Husky stuff - all the red handle stuff is going away in favor of the white/black. Seems like that is what has been on sale.

You will probably have to go to your local store and check availability and participation.

This item and a few of the other deals of late like the cheap tape measures and adjustable wrenches are holiday season left over stock they are trying to get rid of at the store level and is not anything you will find online.

Hmmm... I saw these but passed them up, looked like an solid deal at $16 but at the time I assumed HD had just made them that much cheaper by skimping on materials etc.

They are discounted because they are overstock from what did not sell at Christmas time, not because they are passing on a cheaper cost due to materials.

No one thinks Snap On is making their stuff with cheaper materials when they do their BOGO's, just that they have the high mark up to begin with to discount for those events.

One person PM-ed me about picking up a set for them. I don't want to open a flood gate, but these will fit in a small flat-rate box if removed from their packaging. I *think* two sets could fit. Tax is 9% here.

There were probably 5+ more of each set at the store near my house last night.

Apparently it is the smallest Home Depot in the country so I guess that makes stuff move slowly compared to larger stores.

They also had two sets of the air drill/impact marked $20 yesterday. Those would need a medium box at least.

PM your requests but not send $ and I can make a run - first come first serve - I'll let you know what I can get.
