I think I have this question already answered...but I want to double check.

I just bought some fully polished wrenches at Sears to compliment my SAE Industrial set. There is a Z stamp on the back. I assume they are made in China?

Not sure what the Z is, The China plant codes that I have seen are D-** (ie D-AA, D-AB) The Taiwan plant codes that I have seen are L-** (ie L-AA, L-AB)

I read that the L and D are the plant codes the ** would be a date code.

Not sure how it relates to wrenches, but I just bought (literally today) a Craftsman Professional P4 screwdriver...it has WF Z on it. It's made in the USA too. I am guessing the WF is Western Forge, not sure about the Z.
