I ended up with this instruction manual a bit back and thought it was pretty cool. I did not realize all the add-ons that were available for the Versa Vise. Since I could not find a copy on the web of this, I am putting up here for your viewing pleasure. Now if I could just find a replacement base for mine.... I would be happy with the flush base even!

I see you posted this some time ago, but I plan on winning one of these on ebay today (or soon!), so I truly appreciate that you put this up. I lust after that right angle base...according to the completed listing history on ebay, one has never shown up there.

I bought one on EBAY about a year ago to replace a missing one from my dads old wood working bench that I'd recently acquired from my brother.

It has the long jaws. I think my dad used it mainly to hold the stock of his guns while cleaning them. The bench has a retractable post specifically for that vise.

The vise probably got sold when we cleaned out my mom and dads house after he died and my mom moved to a condo.

When I recently got the bench from my brother, I looked for a replacement vise out of sentimental reasons. Found the exact vise on EBAY, same color even.

Thanks for the all the info on the vises. Someone with a computerized plasma cutter could have those bases cut out.

Thank you for posting the instruction manual... I was curious about the mounting bases that were made for the Versa-Vise.
I recently got one off of Craig's List, and it came with the "flush base" and "tilt adapter".
I bought a standard mounting base with the three mounting holes off of ebay.

Earlier this year, I found a nice Reed No.105R vise at a local flea market, and made a "portable" stand for it using a Harbor Freight Universal Tool Stand, so I could keep the vise in my detached garage workshop, and be able to move it around.

So I used one of the back corners to mount the Versa-Vise flush base.

I made a wood mounting base for the standard base, so that I could use the Versa-Vise in my basement workshop, by mounting it in my woodworker's vise... here's some photos.

I'm going to really enjoy using this vise... wish I had one years ago !

Thanks ! Made a couple of wood jaws today from a scrap piece of 1/4" hardboard... I can't keep my hands off of it !
