Hello guys!
I have been lurking this site for about a month. Your ideas have pushed me forward to upgrade my garage.
I want to post some pictures for discussion.

Have those cars along the fence been in the Russia you tube videos?

Your garage fits in nicely to our GJ "family" - just the right amount of "patina" (from use, it appears) to make it a working garage. The neighborhood looks very "American" in many ways and not what people generally imagine when they think about Russia. I'm sure you're finding lots of inspiration and ideas here on GJ. Your English is very good - at least good enough for this forum.

Is that your home next to the shop? The walls are very substantial which, I think, might help with the heating (hot eater radiator?). Is there an in-ground pit under that center section of the floor (where the wood is located)? If so, I hope it's well-ventilated.

We have very good friends in Moscow. Their families all live in apartments. It's a lot different from your neighborhood. Roman thinks we're a bit "crazy" with our collection of cars, but he did attend one of our car shows with his mother when she was here on a visit. She loved going for drives with me in my Lincoln Mark VIII.

This garage has been working for about 5 years. Generally, we improve our cars. Also we have little club of people holding the same views. It is called VW GOLF mk2.
At the beginning i rallied the small green car (it is parked along the fence in my backyard). Then I grew up and decided to make a car for its beauty and my soul.
I really try to improve my neighborhood, my backyard and my garage to "american" ones. The whole forum GJ gives me lots of inspiration for it.
This is my house near the garage. There is a tyre fitting in one of its parts (in smaller one). It's one of my ways of living. The walls are substantial because our winter usually lasts 8 months a year. the temperature is about -30 Celsius degrees with the wind. During this time the inside garage temperature is +15 Celsius degrees and radiators are hot. In the center on the floor (under the wood) is a pit and, unfortunately, it is not ventilated. But this year I'm going to change it.
I live in the countryside. It is more than 1900 km from Moscow. I would love to go for drive with you in your Lincoln Mark VIII too.

Are you just a tire shop or do you do other work ?

I do my tyre business twice a year: spring and autumn, during a week or two. My principal job is medical supply and equipment , i'm a storehouse chief.

Sometimes I make some auto parts for tuning and sell them.

It looks to me like you have a nice shop space with some room to grow. I don't think any of us will ever have enough room though!

There's something about an attached shop... It's nice to be able to go work for a few minutes without getting soaked or frozen in the winter.

My garage consists of the main part (with pit) and one more room. I want to develop very much, but my financial situation doesn't allow me to realize my wishes. You can be proud of your garage - and I should say that I'm shocked - you have so many machines and that large area is my dream!

Great home garage, definitely could still be a shop. I just hope your backyard isn't a MK2 graveyard haha.

Thanks! I'm longing for this (speaking about a shop). I also hope, my backyard isn't a graveyard :)

That's a nice sized garage. It looks like you could almost get 4 cars in there?

You can do a lot with that space, you just have to be creative with work areas that serve multiple purposes.

Your neighborhood looks interesting. It has a lot more character then many USA cities. Most of the neighborhoods in my area all look the same. They are all new neighborhoods, and they seem to be built by the same person. You have to drive out of the more populated areas to find neighborhoods that look nice and unique.

Thank you. It will be difficult to get 4 cars in there but it is possible.
I'm searching for these purposes. I'm trying to find them here.

I have had no idea that I live in such a nice neighborhood.

Nice space, it would be a big transformation if you could paint the walls and polish the floor. Your English is very good, how old are you?

Thanks! There is little time for painting the walls and I can't decide what the colour it will be. What do you mean by saing to polish the floor? It's made of tile.
I'm 26. My English is good, because my wife is an interpreter but without any practice.

I like your garage and always enjoy seeing garages and homes from different parts of the world and how other people do things.

The nice thing about painting your walls is that paint is very easy to change if you do not like the colour.

I could not imagine living where winter is 8 months out of the year and the temperature is so cold.

Don't worry about your english. It's better than some Americans that I know :)
