I'm going to take a look at it later today. I'm guessing a blackhawk 4 ton? Guy selling it on CL isn't sure what it is. He's asking $175, I'm going to offer less and see where it goes unless someone on here waves me off of it.

Weaver jack, could have been sold under the Blackhawk name.. But it's a weaver oem. It's worth $175 if its not rusted to hell, good wheels..

Thank you sir. Any idea which model? Is it a 4 ton?

EDIT: After more research, this looks like either a WA-72 or a WA-73. So, that's either a 2 or a 4 ton depending on which it is. I'm trying to find something in that picture that distinguishes the two. Any guesses?

Should be a stamp on top of the hydraulic unit under the cover, if the metal tag is missing or illegible.

Gave the guy $100 and brought it home. It's a 4 ton, based on the 5" front wheel diameter and the fact that the body is 58" long.

He said it leaks, but I haven't seen any oil coming out of it. It doesn't lift all the way though, this is as high as I could get it.

You **** I have been on the lookout for one of those.

Hopefully it just needs oil and bleeding to reach full height. What is the minimum and max (should be max) height on that jack?

Looks right at home next to that beautiful Stingray. Hope it can handle the weight :lol_hitti

Thanks. I wanted a 4 ton for lifting my F-250 Diesel. Front end on that is heavy, and my old jacks were scaring me, they barely lift the thing and are hard to control when releasing the weight. I had a scare a couple weeks ago that finally made me say uncle and look for a decent jack. My wife ruined my craftsman (supposedly 4 ton) jack removing my kids' sandbox last summer, so I was left lifting my truck with a 2 ton Taiwan jack.

The Vette I could lift up with a prybar if I had to :)

5.5" to 26.5" is the lift height.

Answer to your question . . . . a damn good jack !!

I see a jack rebuild in near future . . . . ie full restoration since you've got the GJ jack guru (HiBall) helping you out.

Oh, and by the way . . . $100 for that jack . . . . YOU **** !!!
