A few folk have been asking about Microflex nitrile glove quality in this deal thread I started. The absolute best way to gauge a disposable glove's quality is to try it out yourself.

Check this out - you can order up to five types of Microflex samples via their website through this LINK.

One can approximate their glove size by measuring the circumference of their hands at the location just below or around the large knuckles, or wherever the largest part of their hand is. There are a few sources that offer printable size charts, but they're not as accurate.

Approximately 8" is a small, 9" is a medium, 10" is a large, and 11" is extra large. These are approximate, and the best thing is to order a few samples and see which size feels best. My hands are about 8.5" so I usually wear medium, although I suppose smalls will fit in a pinch as well.

My suggestions for the samples to try - Supreno SE, Ultrasense, Midknight, and any two other styles, maybe an EC (extended cuff) version.

I use to get free samples from my auto body rep. The ones I used the most were the safegrip. I found out that my hands had an issue with the nitrile gloves I tried, so i stuck with the latex. Very nice gloves all around, definitely recommend using them.

Don't be disappointed if the samples you get consist of one glove of each size. That is a common practice, nowadays. We get them on a daily basis like that.

Even if you are not allergic, currently, to latex, over time you may develop one. So, other alternatives may be worth it in the long-term.

I wasn't disappointed at all!

I received two of each sample pack. Each sample pack either had two gloves in several sizes each, or one each of several sizes. In other words, I received at least one pair in all the glove styles - in several size options no less, and two pairs or more of other glove styles.

Don't abuse their generosity though - you might have to put a legit business name or email.

Link works....but when you submit application you get an error.....will try again later....

Got an error too.

Someone in aerospace gave me a box of nitrile gloves and I haven't yet tried them. Having been going with the cheapo ones from HD, but they tear pretty easily.

I have a feeling after I try all these gloves I am going to be back with Playtex fleece lined. You lose "some" feel, but with the texture I can pick up small stuff and they are insanely more durable and protective.

So far biggest complaint with thin gloves, I bash the back of my hand a few times a day, and some kind of protection like a pad would be nice, but I am not ready for the full pad of "mechanix" gloves yet.
