Okay, so I am helping a family friend who has become ill. We are selling some stuff to help pay medical bills. I have had this old Walker-Turner power tool for years. I felt it would be something of value I could sell to help him out... BUT the problem is I have no idea what exactly it is or it's value. I cannot find it anywhere. So here is my cry for help. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forums.

It is a flexible shaft grinder from approximately the 1940s. As to its' value I don't know, but doing Google searches for flex shaft grinders should net you some results in that area.

Here is a link to some more pics of a model SF155 that looks almost the same as yours.

Welcome aboard by the way.

You took the words right out of my mouth, but damn that thing sure is cool. Definitely a manly mans tool. Good for taking your own skin off.:lol_hitti

I don't know if it will help much, but here is a parts diagram for that machine on pdf. You might be able to sell things like just the flex shaft, the transmission, etc. and/or see if there is any value for any of the individual parts if the unit you have is broken.
