Garage progress pics & couple questions

After reading the site for a while and not posting much of anything, I thought it was time to make a post with my progress to date.

Started with a normal 2 car garage:



First step was to paint the ceiling:






Then put two coats on the walls and started adding some lights:






Added a drop light. Eventually will put a second one in there:


Starting the prep work for the stripe to add some color:


2 coats of British Racing Green:


Unfortunately the tape leaked a bit so I had to go back and edge the stripe. Suddenly the choice of stripe seemed amazing stupid....


But I'm pretty happy with the results




Next up is the floor (Epoxy-Coat in Beige) then some storage solutions. I'm going to go with some strips of StoreWALL and some cabinets, like T1704 but I'm not sure what color to go with for the slat wall. I was thinking cedar, but I'm just not sure. Since the last picture I stained the railings a few shades darker, even darker than the cedar. Anyone have pictures of this color wall in their garage?

Amazing what some paint can do for a room. Im closing in on getting ready for paint. Only 2 more coats of mud, then comes the sanding. YAY

It all depends on the look you're after. I would say either the beige StoreWall or the Cedar based on where you're currently headed.
