Damnit, I just ordered these from Cripe on ebay for $80 shipped, which was still a good price at the time. Actually they were ordered for me as a gift so I didn't pay for them, so I don't feel quite so bad.

A recent job had me looking for SOME sort of obstruction wrench. I first thought I needed/wanted S or half-moon, but the more I searched the board the more I agreed that these are rarely used. The indexable makes more sense to me, if nothing else because it's adjustable.

In a perfect world I'd like S and half-moon also, but I think these indexables are the better first purchase.

$62.52 for me after points plus shipping and tax.

I tried adding more items to get $59 free shipping, didn't work.

Final decider for me, I already have 8mm 10mm from Cripe, really wanted 13mm which fits most 1/2 adapters like the bit holders, needing the other 4 sizes just once pulled the trigger.

Can anyone confirm if these are 12 point or spline drive?

Those fuzzy pictures sure look like spline drive which I absolutely despise, but the description states metric. They damage every fastener you put torque into and then it gets stuck on the wrench.

The two sets I ordered last year at this price were both from Taiwan which is typically better than the newer Chinese GW tools.

I got one. Craftsman... Nice set. I worked with it on changing the jetski trailer reel to remove bolts in a dammmmmmmn narrrrow space like everything is in your way to make it impossible to clasp the bolt if use regular stubby wrenches/long ones. Forget it. So this ratchet set is capable of posing crooky angles like cracking your head.

It will, I have bought them at two different times last year a little cheaper than this past sale. Set up an alert for this on the Sears website and they will email you when it gets down to or below the price you set.

Got me a set today in the mail. Was happy at first, but upon further inspection I noticed this...

The 19 and 21 are on the wrong sides, according to the 'text' on the wrench...That is a 21mm part of a lock key from a toyota i was holding as reference. It fits in the side that says 19, but not the side that says 21. go figure. thats good quality control.

I just received mine today and they look nice. They are "dry" though. I'll drip a little oil into the works before I put them away.

I didn't realize that they'd be so long. I'd like to have a standard length set too.

Mine are Taiwanese and the year code is K with three hashes.

I picked up one of those ten dollar Ace Hardware 4 or 5 wrench SAE sets a while back. The year code was L and the quality of the stampings on the wrenches sucked. The CoO was China.

Mine are Taiwan date code K with - - - around the K.

First impression, wow that 19/21 is big, but I doubt I will ever need the largest sizes.

Second impression, very nice plastic "presentation" style case/holder, too bad its headed for recycle since it takes so much space.

Got mine today from Cripe on ebay (as I missed this deal). Taiwan also. All the engravings appear correct. The wrench handles are thinner than expected, these are definitely a use-with-gloves kinda wrench. Not complaining, I don't think I'll use them often and I think they'll pay for themselves the first time I truly NEED them.

LOL, the link in post 1 took me to the KD Tools item at $97.49, which of course I know is the same product, different "brand." So I searched sears.com for 85490, and it brings up all the options, including showing the GW brand at $49.88. But when I clicked on the thumbnail it took me right back to the KD at $97.49
