Saw a CL ad this morning for a vice and was thinking that I could use one on my lift table. It was farther than I wanted to drive though since it was just a plain jane import.

This afternoon an ad popped up where a woman was selling everything in her mom's garage in an effort to clear out the house. I spied a vise under all the stuff on the edge of the pic. She set the price at $50.

It is a Chas. Parker 205 and had been in place for a while. It had square nuts holding it to the table.

I surely hoped you jumped all over that at $50 . . . ??

Post up your own "take home" pics of that vise, then all the Y.S. accolades will soon follow.:D

That is my garage. It's a sty. It is sitting on the corner of my Rol-lift platform at the moment. My plan is to drill holes and then weld nuts underneath so I can take the vise off as needed since I use the platform to lift tractors etc. to work on them as well as use it as a bench space.

What is the redline on the bar?

Coach

Red paint drip.
